Native to Maui, Hawaii, where it is known as the ihi plant. It grows in limited coastal areas and in the wild grows into dense clumps. In a container grows thick stems with leaves at the top. Has unique round-shaped leaves and can flower in Spring. Likes bright light and moderate warm temperatures. Easily propagated by stem cuttings. These are seed-grown, healthy plants in 2.5 inch containers, approximate height 3-5 inches.

Our plants are all grown in the same conditions and, although not identical, are similar in size and shape to the one pictured.
