Alluaudia Procera Succulent Plant

This plant is a spiny succulent shrub, with thick stems and bright green leaves. It is similar in appearance (but not related) to the ocotillo, earning it the nickname of Madagascar Ocotillo.

Young alluaudias form a tangle of stems that last for several years after which a strong central stem develops. The basal stems then die out leaving a tree-like stem that branches higher up on the main trunk.

Shown here in a 3 gallon pot. (Shipped bareroot.) You'll receive 1 stem varying in height, about 12-20 inches tall.

Our cactus and succulent plants are all grown in the same conditions and, although not identical, are similar in size and shape to the one pictured. We only ship good quality and healthy plants, personally inspected prior to packing. Your plant will ship bare root (unpotted) unless otherwise requested or specified. We include Plant Care instructions with your shipment and they can also be found on our website.

Shipping: We ship our plants year round via USPS or Fed Ex Ground, depending upon the nature of the order. Large orders containing many plants may ship in multiple cartons and may ship on different days. We may delay shipping in severe weather.
